Wisdom of Court Poets of Guru Sahib
While all the ancient Indian writers like Kalidas, Bharta, Dandin et al mentions only Eight Rasa-s, it was Court-poet of Guru Gobind Singh ji, Amrit Rai, trained under the guidance of Greatest poet of all times, Guru Gobind Singh ji,r eferred to Nine Rasa-s while describing the unmatched poetic genius of Guru Gobind Singh ji. In use of Alankaras Rasa, Auchtya and Dhvani are three major constituents of literary criticism, but not a single Slander of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib from Teja Singh Bhadaur, Rattan Singh Jaggi to Kala Afghana, Ragi Darshan Singh et al could confront the Poetic Genius of Guru Gobind Singh Ji on technical aspects of his poetry in any manner. That is why there is no taker/buyer of heir venomous writings.
In his scholarly research paper Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha, highlights this peculiar aspect of Guru Gobind Singh’s poetic genius for the first time in 1933. Even learned Sanskrit scholar and Musicologist Dr V.Raghvan highlighted the importance of the Ninth Rasa(Shant Rasa) for the first time in 1940 in Journal of Oriental Research,Madras, now available in book form, entitled, “The Number of Rasa-S”.
A big challenge for Nindaks to confront the writings of Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha, if they had the intellect for academic debate.
