The Kala Aghana group in Malaysia which includes MGC has been giving a new twist to gurbani to confuse and mislead the sangat, maybe to attract new followers.  

Baba Daler refuse to do this when he was asked the same question. To him gurbani is evergreen.  The change has to come from the disciple.  Gurbani is shabad Guru and that cannot be changed.
