Re: Response to Malaysian Gurdwaras Council Letter Dated 03 March 2017, Titled Inaccurate and Deceptive Statement

We received your letter dated 3 March 2017 and note it’s contents with deep regret. A copy of MGC’s letter is attached in Appendix A.

We maintain our stand on the matter, reiterate and stand by our statement. Our statement is not inaccurate and deceptive.

The Sandesh of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib is very clear unambiguous and unequivocable. The Sandesh states

The Sandesh also states the reasons why it was issued. Sri Akal Takhat Sahib notes the Gurmat Virodhi views and activities. It clearly states that lndar Singh Ghagga is not to be allowed to speak from any Gurdwaras and panthic stages, until he appears in person before the Takhat Sahib to seek pardon.

Our statement is not inaccurate or deceptive. Instead it is MGC’s statement that is deceptive and intended to mislead the sangat. It is regrettable that the MGC is demeaning Sri Akal Takhat Sahib Sandesh by saying it is issued in ignorance and is only advisory in nature and that too ignorance of the meeting held under rehanmei of Professor Darshan Singh, another Gurmat Virodhi declared Tankhayah by Takhat Sri Patna Sahib with a Hukumnama dated 10 April 2008. (Appendix B)

We strongly condemn the organisation under which Professor lndar Singh Ghagga was
brought to Malaysia to preach in defiance of the Sandesh of Sri Akal Takhat.

it is most regrettable that MGC [with Malaysian Gurdwaras as it’s members) which is
supposed to respect the Sikh Institution especially Sri Akal Takhat and uphold and promote the Gurmat is actively defending and promoting Gurmat Virodhi lndar Singh Ghagga. MGC is defending the indefensible.

Finally, we humbly urge and call upon all Gurdwaras and The Malaysian Sangat to rise and stand up and resist all attempts to undermine our Takhat Sahibs and Gurmat,
