There were some correspondence on FB which implies that “Deh Siva ..” should not be recited. See Figure 1.  The content of the extract is reproduced below for ease of reading.  Note that that this extract clearly points to an instruction that “Deh Siva …” SHOULD NOT BE RECITED AS A PART OF THE ASSEMBLY.

The content of the extract above is

Assembly

All PECs must start the day with an assembly.  The assembly should be held before 2:00 pm.  The assembly should start with “Negara Ku”.  If the PEC desires it could follow by any “shabad taken from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji” and announcements.  The classes should commence by 2:00 pm.

** Note:-

  1. Actually we do not have a national anthem of our own.  Dey Shiva is not our national anthem.
  2. PETM sugest and request all PECs to come up with a suitable Gurbani Shabad.
  3. Come up with its tune and singing rhythem.  Perhaps you could record on CD and send to us by May 2017.  PETM will select and then issue a circular so as we could have ONE common Shabad for our PECs.
  4. Your input is greatly appreciated.
