The arrows discharged produce repeated sounds and the guns fired give out a rapid barrage.

The drums are beaten and they produce a drumming sound.

The warriors are standing firmly on their feet in the great arena.

The weapons are struck with a rustling noise and are severing (the limbs) at once.
