Respectable Sangat Ji.  This Bani Kirtan that I am reciting is from the Bani which is utterance (Mukhvak) Guru Gobind Singh (Patshahi Dasveen). 

There are those who denigrate the Bani of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.  These people should be prudent and have remorse and should not denigrate the Bani of Guru Gobind Singh.  

Previously I was reciting this Shabad by Guru Gobind Singh Ji in this Gurdwara (Rakab Ganj).  Professor Darshan Singh was present then.  The Gurdwara management were also present. 

The stopped me from reciting this Shabad. 

They held my hand and said “stop the recitation.. what are you doing”.  I replied “I am doing kirtan of Guru Gobind Singh’s Bani”. 

I have done kirtan on Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Bani in Harmandir Sahib, nobody can stop this. 

But they said “stop this .. don’t recite this here”. 

It was very painful for me to stop but I was forced to, they being the management”.  The Satsangat of Delhi were also very pained with the episode.

Then I performed Ardas to Guru Ji to give me an opportunity to recite this shabad in this Gurdwara in future.

At this point Bhai Balbir commenced kirtan of the Shabad he was forced to stop reciting previously.
