We recently came across a posting on Sikh Naujawan Malaysia (SNSM) Facebook Page.  This posting was dated 25-May-2017.

This posting stated the stand of SNSM on some questions raised by the Sangat.

Some sincere and factual comments, but unpalatable to SNSM, were noted to this post.  Soon after, these unpalatable comments were removed.  It was surprising that these comments were removed, as against a clarification.  Does this mean SNSM is guilty of the contents of the statements in the comments?

In this article we present this posting and the comments as well as a discussion.

INTRODUCTION

The main question to the SNSM was in essence the apparent support of SNSM for the Malaysian Gurdwaras Council (MGC) resolution which banned the recitation of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee in Malaysian Gurdwaras.

The post was the SNSM statement which was supposed to address this question.  We will herewith present the analysis.

THE SNSM STATEMENT

The SNSM statement is shown in Figure 1.

The key claims in this statement in relation to the question “apparent support of SNSM for the Malaysian Gurdwaras Council (MGC) resolution which banned the recitation of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee in Malaysian Gurdwaras”.

  1. SNSM is guided by the Sikh Rehat Maryada.
  2. SNSM will abide by the hukamnamas of the Akaal Takhat Sahib (It is understood that hukamnamas means Gurmatta, Matta, Adesh and Sandesh).
  3. SNSM abides by Gurmatta 1 A:3/08/3145 dated 6th June 2008 (see attached PDF) which declared firstly that “Sri Dasam Granth is inseparable part of history and literature of Sikh Panth” and secondly Guru Gobind Singh Ji “did not impart it recognition equal to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji ”.

COMMENTS ON THE SNSM STATEMENT AND GURMATTA -1

It is highlighted that SNSM stated that it abides by the Gurmatta – 1 A:3/08/3145 dated 6th June 2008.

This Gurmatta explicitly states, in relation to Dasam Granth, that

  • Debates presented in relation to Sri Dasam Granth are totally needless.
  • No one has the right to present a questionable debate on the writings of Dasam Granth which the Panth has accepted.
  • The writings from Dasam Granth are used for
    • the Sikh Rehat Maryada
    • Nitnem
    • Amrit Sanchaar.

Note that in particular the following from the Sri Dasam Granth

  • Jaap
  • parts of Ardas (from Chandi Di Vaar),
  • Chaupai (from Charitro Pakhyan)
  • Katha and Kirtan (Gurbani is defined to be banee from both Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Sri Dasam Granth in credible resources)

are clearly stipulated in the SRM.

COMMENTS ON THE SNSM STATEMENT

Figures 2 to 5 present the comments to the SNSM statement.

Figure 2 and 3 which were comments made on the date of release of the SNSM statement showed confidence in the claims by SNSM and that they were expecting that SNSM involvement in the banning of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee by SNSM will be retracted.

This did not eventuate.

The comments in Figures 4 and 5 were made recently and both expose that SNSM never had the intention to honour its claims.  It was a covert attempt to pacify the Sangat with cowardly written false statements.

It is clear from these comments that SNSM in cohorts with MGC and others are part of the Kala Afghana Snake Brigade.  They are controlled by the wishes of the Global Sikh Council which is true blue Kala Afghana Ideologists and propagate this ideology by any means possible.

IS SNSM WALKING THE TALK

Is SNSM walking the talkNO; it does not appear to be the case.

Is SNSM only paying lip service to the SRM and Dasm Granth banees.  YES; we show this below.

The ban recitation of the banee from Sri Dasam Granth

To date SNSM has not retracted its involvement in the preparation of the resolution BANNING THE RECIATION OF THE BANEE OF GURU GOBIND SINGH FROM THE GURDWARAS.

So it can be assumed that SNSM still supports this ban.

By this SNSM is going against its claims (1) and (3) of their statement.

Rejecting the Adesh by Akaal Takhat on the date for the Prakash Diharda of Guru Gobind Singh to be 25-Dec-2017

SNSM via MGC’s letter dated 17-Nov-2017 has rejected the Adesh from Akaal Takhat  dated 13-Nov-2017.

SNSM instructed the Sangat and the Gurdwaras to celebrate Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Prakash Diharda on 5-Jan-2018.  This clearly shows they have rejected the Adesh from Akaal Takhat which stated the date to be 25-Dec-2017.

By this SNSM is going against its claim (2) of their statement.

CONCLUSION

The analysis above clearly shows that SNSM does not honour its statement via the FB post dated 25-May-2017 (as shown in Figure 1) to the Sangat of Malaysia.

Why is SNSM only talking the talkbut NOTwalking the talk?

Their hands are tied because of the Kala Afghana Brigade alignment and are forced to propagate the Kala Ideology.

The rejection of Dasam Granth is one of the Kala Afghana “precepts”.  This is the reason for their involvement in the ban on Dasam Granth banee.

IF SNSM ARE KALA AFGHANA PEOPLE THEY SHOULD COME OUT AND SAY SO AND LET THE SANGAT DECIDE IF THEY ACCEPT THIS.

DO NOT SAY ONE THING AND DO ANOTHER.

Sangat Ji, do you want to support these people who

  • act cowardly and covertly AND
  • don’t walk the talk?

It is your decision Sangat Ji BUT.

BEWARE.  The WOLVES are in SHEEP’s clothing.

May VAHEGURU bless us all.
