GURMAT AND MANMAT

FACT SHEET

Sangat Ji.  Please note how much MGC has deviated from its constituted role.  It is a clear betrayal of the Sangat whom it is supposed to represent and serve.

Abiding by Sikh Rehat Maryada (SRM) and the decisions and Gurmattas and Adesh of Akaal Takhat and the other four Takhats decide that :- Bani of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji can be preached from our Gurdwara Stages and any individual and or Organisation has the right to do Keertan and Katha of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Bani on any Panthic Stage.

(SNSM Position Statement dated 18-07-2018)

MGC also claim to uphold the Sikh Rehat Maryada (SRM) and the Gurmattas of Akaal Takhat.   But in disobedience, defiance or disregard of the Gurmattas, Mattas of Sri Akaal Takhat and the other Four Takhats.  BANS the reciting and preaching of Dasam Granth Bani in the Gurdwaras (MGC letter dated 12/7/2016)

Slanders (ninda ਨਿੰਦਾ) the Takhats (Litt. Thrones) Sahibs the highest seats of Authority of the Sikh Panth and the Jathedars and questions their authority to issue Hukamnamas, Gurmattas and Adesh. MGC letters dated 6/1/2017 and 20/3/2017.

Does not support or accept the inviting of Parcharaks on whom sanctions has been placed by the Akaal Takhat.

(SNSM Position Statement dated 18-07-2018)

Bans local Parcharaks, Kathavachaks and Keertanias who accept and preach Dasam Granth from Gurdwara stages.  MGC letter dated 2-5-2017.

Stops Smagams of Parcharaks and Kathavachaks who accept and preach Dasam Granth.

Schools Akaal Takhat on Protocol. Tells Akaal Takhat that according to proper protocol Akaal Takhat should write to MGC and not to the Sangat and Gurdwaras directly. Tells Akaal Takhat the MGC is better than Akaal Takhat by telling Sri Akaal Takhat that MGC always act to safeguard the SRM whereas sometimes Akaal Takhat Sahib has failed to do so.

Tells Akaal Takhat of his idea to recruit Missionary College students as Granthis.  See MGC letter dated 14/9/2017.   This letter is written by MGC to Akaal Takhat in response to Adesh dated 7/7/ 2017 by Akaal Takhat addressed to the Sangat and the Gurdwaras of Malaysia whereby Akaal Takhat directs the Sangat and the Gurdwaras to boycott (muh na laun ਮੂਹ ਨਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ) those who create doubts and confusion (ਭਰਮ ਭੁਲੇਖੇ) and speak against Sikh History and Amrit Sanchar bania and directs the Sangat to be loyal and dedicated (smarpat ਸਮਰਪਿਤ to Akaal Takhat).

Objectives: To promote and propagate the teachings of our LIVING GURU (JAGDI JOT) Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the teaching of all ten Gurus including Guru Gobind Singh Ji and in accordance with established practices of the Sikh. Objectives: To propagate and implement Ek Granth concept (which rejects Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s bani).  Ek Granth concept was first adopted and unveiled by Global Sikh Council at its AGM in 2015 in Paris (GSC website Constitution – Aims and Objectives).

MGC peddles and implement GSC concepts and programmes in Malaysia and ban Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s bani in Dasam Granth.  Promotes and suggests new age Missionary parcharaks and Missionary College trained students as Granthis (MGC letter dated 7-7-2017)

All the Malaysian parchar religious organisations and groups have declared their support for SNSM’s decision and stand.  Letter dated 28-7-2018 Which parchar religious organisation or group support MGC on this issue?
Unity under the Sikh Rehat Maryada, the Guru Granth, Guru Panth and Akaal Takhat. Unity under MGC and its Rehat Maryada which bans Dasam Granth bani (and our Ardas is from Dasam Granth)

Now the Sangat can decide to unite under the supremacy and authority of the panth and Sri Akaal Takhat or MGC.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
