THE LETTER
MALAYSIAN GURDWARAS COUNCIL
No 7A, Jalan Haji Salleh
Sentul, 51100
Kuala Lumpur 9 May 2017
Dear President,
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh
Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) dated 5th May 2017
We refer to the above notice of E.G.M.
We wish to inform that, SGGS Ji Ke Sewak is NOT in any way challenging the authority of Malaysian Gurdwaras Council (MGC) and/or any Gurdwaras.
As per our letter dated 3rd March and 20th March 2017, we are only asking for an open dialog session with MGC to discuss pertaining to the much controversy concept of “EK Granth, EK Panth, EK Maryada. What’s wrong with that? How is it tantamount to challenging the as claimed by MGC?
Did the President call for an EGM when such unprecedented and important decisions were made? Why has he called for an EGM on 27th May 2017 to prop up the decision made by other adopted by Exco and being forced on the Gurdwaras and the Sangat. Mr Jagir Singh, the President is responsible for the decisions and he should address the issues and defend his decision himself and bear the responsibility and the consequences of his decision and stand.
Now, Mr Jagir Singh’s lies and misinterpretation are well exposed and known. I urge the Gurdwaras to read carefully and understand the writings of Datuk Such Singh in Gurvicahr.com and understand the Panthic issues and the stand and direction the MGC has taken.
We appeal that since MGC have called and EGM on 27th May 2017 pertaining to our letters dated 3rd March and 20th March 2017, kindly give an opportunity to SGGS Ji Ke Sewak to represent in person on the said matter during EGM.
………………..
(Gagandhar Singh)
