- speaking against Sikh History
- speaking against Amrit Sanchar.
ADESH FROM AKAAL TAKHAT DATED 7 JULY 2017
Their advice to the Sikh Sangat and Gurdwara Committees to
- beware of these elements and
- not to associate with them in any way whatsoever.
The action of these individuals is resulting in misconception and misunderstanding amongst the Sangat in relation to Sikhi.
Further the Adesh advises that Sangat and the committees should guard the Panthic Rehat Maryada and be dedicated to the Akaal Takhat.
A translation of the letter is included below.
Note: These individuals are claiming to abide by the Panthic Rehat Maryada but analysis has shown this is far from the truth. They seem to have a skewed interpretation of the Panthic Rehat Maryada. Please see Gurvichar for information on this.

It is advised that presently some individuals are creating numerous misconceptions and misunderstanding in the Sangat for their personal benefit. They are speaking against the Sikh history and Amrit Sanchar Banees. Sikh Sangat, be alert to these individuals who speak against Sikh History and Amrit Sanchar and do not associate with them. Sikh Sangat, please guard the Panthic Rehat Maryada and be dedicated to the Akal Takhat.

GYAN PARGAAS SEMAGAM – MALAYSIA TOUR
Some of these missionaries are holding the “Gyan Pargass Semagam” in Malaysia. The program is attached in Figure 2.
We have analysed a video clip of the preaching of one of these, Baljeet Delhi on Gurvichar at LINK B.
Briefly the finding of the analysis is Baljeet Delhi
- distorts long standing accepted and documented historical events/records
- discredits our Guru to be an ordinary person
- degraded the shabad Vaheguru, which is the word of God, to the lowest of low by stating the Jaap or Simran of Vaheguru is like the barking of dogs
- relegated the Sangat to the level of a dog and
- professing all these to the public (Sangat present in the Gurdwara).
This is surprising since Baljeet Delhi presents himself in full Banaa portraying a Gursikh. Such talk is unbecoming of a Gursikh.
Thinking deeper, Point 5 above appears essentially to be seen as creating “a mutiny”, that is making the Sangat go against the accepted precepts of the Sikh Panth.
The gentleman in the first longer video at LINK B hence rightly so stated
What these miscreants are doing is worse than the enemies, like Zakria Khan, of the Sikh Panth. These enemies can only terminate the body of a Sikh. Many more Sikhs will arise to defend Sikhi. But we have only one HISTORY and if this is finished, SIKHI IS FINISHED.
This is very true in the sense one knows the enemy BUT it is very difficult to detect one acting as such from within. Further the martyrdom of Sikhs at the hands or the enemy is replaceable BUT the damage to Sikh HISTORY is IRREPLACEABLE.
QUESTION
The big question is what has happened to MGC which, through the Gurdwaras, is the “steward” of the Sikh Panth.
Does it not appear that they are turning a blind eye to such elements that create MISCONCEPTION AND MISUNDERSTANDING in the Malaysian Sikh Sangat?
Hopefully this is not as the saying goes the case of “FENCE EATING THE CROP”.
As it appears not, the CROP (Sangat) has to now act to ensure the FENCE (leaders who have taken the role of safeguarding Sikhi & Gurmat parchar) do not TURN A BLIND EYE.
No one else will act.
NOTE: It has come to attention, sadlly, that the FENCE seems to have let the CROP down even when the CROP had acted to highlight the problem to the FENCE. See Figure 3.
CONCLUSION
The Adesh from Akaal Takhat is very timely and the Sangat and the Gurdwara Committees should pay heed to this advice LEST the SIKH PANTH ‘SHIP BE SUNK’.
The Sangat should act to ensure such misconception and misunderstand related to Sikhi is checked.
