The article addresses the question “Are we fostering SNAKES in our BACKYARD? in relation to our SRM. Are the so-called keepers of the SRM in Malaysia not SNAKES who are slowly but surely poisoning us.  The word “us” here means our inner-self.

As I was preparing this article, something new cropped up which clearly supports the word “Are we fostering SNAKES in our BACKYARD.

We now also expose MISCREANT AUTAR starting a new CONTROVERSY on the English Version of the authentic Akaal Takhat SRM terming it as mischievous on the part of Akaal Takhat/SGPC.

This is a clear example of the SNAKES with a big fat smile within us covertly creating division amongst the Sangat.

Are we fostering SNAKES in our backyard?  

But first we must understand what a SNAKE is? According to the dictionary a SNAKE in our context is “a treacherous or deceitful person”.  This means one who betrays and deceives (treacherous) and misleads (deceitful).  

Before we look at SNAKES let is review one of the key aspects of the SRM directly related to this discussion.

It is very important to appreciate where the SRM stands with respect to Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee enshrined in Dasam Granth.

We will address this first and then we look at the SNAKE Brigade starting with the root of the ideology of this SNAKE Brigade. Then we will review the SNAKE Brigade from the Malaysian perspective.

By the way in this article I am using the SNAKE to refer to the Kala Afghana Brigade, i.e. those who follow the Kala Afghana Ideology.

WHERE THE SRM STANDS ON GURU GOBIND SINGH JI’s BANEE

The Sikh Rehat Maryada defines Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Banee as Gurbani.  See Figure 1 which is a snapshot of the English version of the SRM at SGPC website.  This snapshot states

… kirtan only of GURBANI (Guru Granth’s or Guru Gobind Singh’s hymns)

CLEARLY defining GURBANI as the compositions in Guru Granth AS WELL AS compositions of Guru Gobind Singh (enshrined in Dasam Granth).

Likewise Mahan Kosh also defines Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s compositions as Gurbani.

Note that the English translation of the authentic Akaal Takhat SRM is dated 31-08-1994.

MOORAKH AUTAR CREATING A CONROVERSY ON THE AUTHENTIC ENGLISH VERSION OF SRM

The moorakh Autar Singh is now creating a controversy on this authentic English version of the Akaal Takhat SRM (see Figure 2) where the English version clarifies Gurbani to mean “Guru Granth and Guru Gobind Singh’s hymns”.   Also notice some other moorakhs jumping on the CONTROVERSY CREATING BANDWAGON.

Authenticity of the English version SRM

Note that the Punjabi/Gurmukhi version states “… ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕੇਵਲ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਦੀ …” where only the phrase “only of Gurbani” is used.  I would say it was the farsightedness of the authors (of the English version SRM), who probably knew about what was brewing in the Kala Afghana camp then, to include this clarification of Gurbani explicitly in the SRM defining it to include Guru Granth Sahib and Guru Gobind Singh’s hymns. 

The English translation (see Akal Takth SGPC Rehat-Maryada-English for the complete authentic English version) was done under the auspicious of the Dharam Parchar Committee, SGPC Amritsar (see Figure 3).  

THIS CLEARLY STATES THAT THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION IS THE AUTHENTIC VERSION OF THE PUNJABI/GURMUKHI VERSION.

Further it is clearly stated in the preface that the authors have “… religiously adhered to the original text … .  At one or two places, he has interpolated a phrase.  But that was to impart specifically to the context after making sure that the interpolation did not, in the least, affect the sense or tenor of the text. …”.  See Figure 4.

ESSENTIALLY THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION FAITHFULLY GIVES THE SAME MESSAGE AS THE ORIGINAL PUNJABI/GURMUKHI VERSION.

ANYONE QUESTIONING THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE ENGLISH VERSION OF THE AKAAL TAKHAT SRM IS A MISCREANT AND A MOORAKH OF THE HIGHEST ORDER.

DO NOT GET WAYLAID BY SUCH ANTI-SIKHI ANTI-GRUMAT KALA AFGHANA BRIGADE MOORAKHS.  

They are out to divide the Sangat and to dump Sikhi into the doldrums.

GURU GOBIND SINGH JI’s BANEE

The fact that the SRM refers to Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee means Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee exists.  

Sangat Ji, you may wonder as to why I make this statement.  

The reason is I just came across a picture over the social media where this is the view of some prominent moorakhs, Autar and Rajinder shown in the picture.  See Figure 5.  These moorakhs never stop at creating controversy with their “container full of LIES and FAKE practices”.

The claim that Guru Gobind Singh does not have any banee is mooted by alignment with the Kala Afghana Ideology.  There is substantial evidence to this effect at Gurvichar (gurvichar.com).  The Kala Afghana Brigade rejects the Dasam Granth (see LINK and LINK).  Their leader/Guru Gurbaksh Kala Afghana states that it is written by Brahmin (see Figure 6).  

Based on Autar and Raginder’s, above and other previous comments and actions it is evident that these two, are strong members of the Kala Afghana BrigadeIt is believed that they have been aligned with this type of ideology from as far back as the 1990s or even earlier.

They have been working for many years setting up groups, infiltrating organisations with the Kala Afghana Ideology so much so that many of the groups and organisations including Gurdwaras in Malaysia are well infiltrated with people aligned to this ideology.  This includes the organisations, MGC, SNSM, KDM, SSSJMMSM and possibly Tatt Khalsa Divan.  There may well be others.

When was Dasam Granth completed:  

Dasam Granth was complete in 1698 with the exception some for example Zafarnama and Hakayatan which were added later.  See Figure 7 for this evidence.  This figure shows the contents page from Dasam Granth at Patna Sahib with the year Sambat 1755 which works out to 1698 AD (there is a difference of 57 years between Sambat and AD).  The year shown in the contents page is arrowed and underlined.

Why was Dasam Granth written:

It was written by Guru Gobind Singh Ji to inspire the common people to rebel and perform heroic deeds against the tyranny of the Moghuls and Brahmanic priestly class.

Who was the composer:

Guru Nanak stated that his writings “Jaysee Mae Aaway Khasam Ki Banee …” (Tilang M”:1 SGGS 722 Line16) were from God.

Likewise Guru Gobind Singh also penned Akaal Purakh’s (God’s) command for him to “spread the path of Dharma” (e.g Akaal Purakh Baach, Bachitar Natak see below; besides many others) 

ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਾਚ ॥

The Timeless Almighty said

ਚੌਪਈ ॥

Chaupai

ਮੈ ਅਪਨਾ ਸੁਤ ਤੋਹਿ ਨਿਵਾਜਾ ॥ ਪੰਥੁ ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰ ਕਰਬੇ ਕਹ ਸਾਜਾ ॥

I have established you as my son.  AND created you to spread dharma

ਜਾਹਿ ਤਹਾ ਤੈ ਧਰਮੁ ਚਲਾਇ ॥ ਕਬੁਧਿ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਟਾਇ ॥੨੯॥

Go from place to place, propagate dharma.   AND stop people from committing ill deeds ॥29॥

Some of his compositions were dictated to scribes by Guru Gobind Singh and others he wrote in his own handwriting (e.g. some portions of Charitropakhayan, Bachitar Natak).  The entire contents of the Dasam Granth which was also called Dasveyn Patshahi Da Granth, is the composition of Guru Gobind Singh.

JUST LIKE WE ACCEPT WHAT GURU NANAK TOLD US WE ACCEPT WHAT GURU GOBIND TOLD US.  

If anybody doubts Guru Gobind Singh Ji then the very person also doubts Guru Nanak Dev Ji and commits BLASPHEMY.

If any moorakh says “Guru Gobind Singh Ji did not write any banee”.  

First ask for credible evidence?  They very likely will have none.

Then pose the question “How come Jaap, Sawaeeyay and Chaupai” were read during the 1699 Amrit ceremony performed by Guru Gobind Singh Ji and where he himself became a “Chela” and took Amrit? 

WHAT DOES REJECTING GURU GOBIND SINGH’S BANEE IN DASAM GRANTH MEAN

Rejecting Guru Gobind Singh’s banee means TRANSGRESSING the SIKH REHAT MARYADA.  The Kala Afghana Brigade is CLEARLY transgressing the SIKH REHAT MARYADA.  So are all those organisations mentioned above including Autar and Rajinder also  transgressing the SRM.  They lie when they say they follow the Akaal Takhat SRM.  

Let us now understand implications of rejecting Guru Gobind Singh’s banee.  These are:

  • Guru Granth will not be a Guru but a mere book of spiritual knowledge.
  • There will be no Jaap Sahib, Tav Prasaad Sawaeeyay and Chaupai.
  • There cannot be Amrit Ceremony as Guru Gobind Singh Ji prescribed.
  • There will be no rehat of 5 kakars.
  • Surnames Singh and Kaur will not exist.
  • Ardas as we recite now will not exist.
  • The Akaal Takhat Sikh Rehat Maryada will not exist.

GURU GOBIND SINGH’s BANEE IS BANNED IN MALAYSIA

Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee is banned via a MGC letter dated 12-07-2016 signed by Jagir Singh.

Through this letter MGC President implies that the BAN complies with the Akaal Takhat Maryada.  This is an absolute LIE.

Even in the MGC EGM on 27 May 2017 Jagir lied to the Sangat that MGC complies with the Akaal Takaht Maryada.  Please listen to the video (sorry for the less than satisfactory recording – his is the best we could acquire) carefully where Jagir speaks (starting at time 2:41).

WHO BANNED GURU GOBIND SINGH’s BANEE IN MALAYSIA; THE PARTIES INVOLVED

MGC letter dated 12-07-2016 signed by Jagir Singh revealed the parties involved in executing the ban.

From the extract it is clear that the organisations, MGC, SNSM, KDM, SSSJMMSM and possibly Tatt Khalsa Divan, were instrumental in executing the ban on Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee recitation in Malaysian Gurdwaras.  It is believed that Autar is one of the religious scholars MGC mentioned, but did not identify, in its letter declaring the ban on Guru Gobind Singh’s banee.  Another likely candidate is Karminder another Kala Afghana Ideology exponent.  There may well be others.

Note that SNSM Jathedar also claims that SNSM in an article at Asia Samachar (see Figure 10) is abiding with the Sikh Rehat Maryada.

171112 The Ban SNSM SRM

Being involved in banning Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee, can he claim to be guided by the SRM?

Sangat Ji, in your wisdom, you can make this decision.

COVERT DECEPTION AND MISLEADING THE SANGAT

The MGC letter claims that the ban is in compliance with the SRM via their English translation, see (ii) in Figure 11.  

This is deceiving the Sangat.  

MGC should use the Akaal Takhat authentic English translation as shown as (c) in Figure 11, not their corrupted version.

All the organisations and individual scholars involved in the banning of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee in Malaysian Gurdwaras, are a party to this covert deception of the Sangat, to mislead them in that the SRM bans Guru Gobind Singh’s banee.  AND Sangat Ji, they do this with a SMILE.

This is TREACHERY on the part of MGC, SNSM and the other organisations and the scholars instrumental in the ban, in whom the Sangat has placed the TRUST to do the right thing.

They were executing the Kala Afghana Ideology by this BAN.

ARE WE FOSTERING SNAKES IN OUR BACKYARD

We now come back to our commencing question “are we fostering SNAKES in our backyard?”.   Treachery and deceit are the qualities for the word “SNAKE” according to the dictionary.

All this is deceit and treachery while showing a big fat smile, to execute the agenda of the Kala Afghana Ideology.

They would have been truthful if they had saidwe ban Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee because the Kala Afghana Ideology rejects it”.

What do you think Sangat Ji.  Aren’t these organisations and scholars also “THE SNAKE BRIGADE” besides being the Kala Afghana Brigade.  Figure 12 aptly shows this.

CONCLUSION

Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee which is enshrined in the Dasam Granth is not banned by the Akaal Takhat Sikh Rehat Maryada.

The MGC, SNSM, KDM, SSSJMMSM and possibly Tatt Khalsa Divan and the scholars (quite likely includes Autar and Karminder) lied and deceived the Sangat into believing that the SRM bans Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s banee to implement their Kala Afghana Ideology agenda.  This is treachery towards the Sangat.

Do you, Sangat Ji, want to support such who hide the TRUTH and propagate their FALSEHOOD by misleading you through deceit?  Do you accept their TREACHERY for the TRUST you placed in them?

The decision is your Sangat Ji.

BUT Sangat Ji, please Beware of these miscreant, deceiving and treacherous Kala Afghana Brigade AKA SNAKE BRIGADE who are hell bent on propagating the KA ideology and destroying Sikhi.  

ONLY YOU SANGAT JI CAN CHECK THIS DESTRUCTION,

The future of Sikhi is in your hands Sangat Ji.
